Happy, healthy, and a big fan of tearing up the paper on the doctor's table.

Way to go, Big E!

The Best Boy in the Land!

Working at Wasatch Elementary, I have often heard and used the phrase "The Best School in the Land."  It is even posted above the front door of our school.  So it seemed only natural that Eli would become "The Best Boy in the Land."  I've even modified the school song to fit him!  But really, Eli does deserve the title - he sleeps through the night, hardly ever cries (or at least only for a few seconds when he does), loves to play with everyone he meets, gives kisses, eats every kind of food we present, thinks everything mom and dad do is the ultimate in entertainment, has the brightest, biggest eyes and knows how to use them to express his emotions and thoughts, loves music, is crawling, and in general is just perfect!

Now I expect that every mother could and should say their baby is perfect, but it doesn't mean Eli isn't! Just ask the girls at FotoFly who took his pictures yesterday.  He flirted and smiled his way into everyone of their hearts.  I know they see babies all day and I'm sure they are complimentary to every mom, but I'll take it as fact that he was one of the best babies they have ever photographed.  After all, if your mother doesn't think you are perfect there is something wrong with the universe!

These are just a few of our favorites from the 65 amazing pictures we got yesterday!

(Thanks, Mary Ann, for the hat!!!)

Sometimes Cute Happens...

Post bathtub crazies are fun!

Visiting Mimi's Grave

We met Heather in Ogden today And visited mom's grave. Kelly and dad had the power tools out getting everything cleaned up while Eli and Heather and I played. It's always do nice to be up here - it really is so beautiful.

We put out some pinecones and flowers both of which Eli found very exciting.
It was a great way to start my first Mother's Day weekend!

A Day with Daddy

Kelly brought little man home early today and they had some fun: fixed the neighbors air conditioning, hung out with baby Jack across the street, took a nap (or two), rode horsies, went on a walk... Quite the afternoon!

Lovely Flowers

Eli loves to touch, smell, and sometimes eat the flowers we find on our walks.
Cute little bug!
