Spring Break - Day Six

Went on an outing. Ended up in Park City. Hit the outlets - nice! Hit Redrock for lunch - nice! Huge spring blizzard started - um... not so nice. But at least we had fun!

Bathtub Time!

Little man loves his bath!! Dad was having fun dressing him up in a shower cap, and Eli doesn't seem to mind. His two favorite activities in the tub are trying to grab the running water and lying in his back kicking (swim teacher mom is excited about that one)!

Spring Break - Day Five

Thanks, Tawnicia for reminding me we only have 6 weeks of school left. It helped me not freak out that the break is almost over!!

Another cold day but we still managed a few laps around the house, lunch with Grandpa at Sizzler, grocery shopping, a visit to Home Depot, and a movie.

Have I mentioned lately I have the best baby ever!! He totally let's me do all the fun and relaxing things I crave (most of the time as long as its on his schedule). Last night he slept straight through the night (9 hours) with no Binky alerts! What a guy!

Hanging out at Macey's with grandpa and dad means ending up in strange situations - like sitting in a cart full of stuffed animals. What cha gonna do? Boys will be boys!

Spring Break - Day Four

Eli's crib sleeping update : last night he slept 9 hours with only two "binky alerts" (that's when he starts fussing and I go in and stick the stinky-binky back in and he goes back to sleep) at 1:30 and 5:30. Not too shabby!

Today was a festival of the lazy. It was cold and rainy so we stayed in and slept and watched Lord of the Rings (yes, all three). Eli concentrated his efforts on sleeping and eating - activities he has mastered very well. What a lovely day!!

Meeting Milo

Today Eli met his cousins' dog Milo. It was touch and go at first but the curiosity won over the fear and his eyes were glued on the big golden retriever.

(Interested...but a little concerned.)

Spring Break - Day Three

Let's get down to business... Cleaned the bathroom, did laundry, played, almost bought a van... another busy day!

Spring Break - Day Two

Sleeping. More sleeping. A little nap. Some lunch. More sleepies... I LOVE SPRING BREAK!!!

Oh, and them there was a walk above Bridal Veil, dinner at the Dairy Keen in Heber, mowing the lawn, enjoying a beautiful sunset!

Wow! What a day!!

Spring Break - Day One

After a fantastic Easter celebration with the Isoms, we decided to hang out with Becky and spend the night. That meant Eli got a sleep over with Grandma and mom and dad got some sleep! We love Nana!!

Monday we got a special treat - a movie! Yep! In a real theater - not Netflix at home. Kelly and I went to see Hunger Games (pretty good) while Eli got rocked, and talked to, and cuddled by Nana. Everyone got just what they needed!

Later on we made it over to the new City Creek Center and walked around to see the sights. Very nice place! We especially liked the water features and the native plants. The stores are way beyond us but fun to window shop! Eli really liked the fountains and the people watching - there were a lot of those to watch!!

Easter with Nana and the Isom Gang

Today we enjoyed a fantastic time with the Isom gang. We ate and laughed and ate and... You get the picture. Thank you so much to all of the family for making the day do much fun. I am also grateful for the spirit you all brought and the time we had to remember our Savior today.

Eli also got to find his first Easter egg today. He had a lot of fun but was more interested in the green grass in his basket than the whole egg thing!
