I realize that it is June, but I have not ever posted about Eli's blessing and I really want to make sure it gets recorded! So...

Family
Summer has already been a great time for us to spend more time with our family. I'm so grateful for all the people in our lives that love us and love our little man. While I was pregnant with Eli, my prayers always included the plea that whatever else happens in life, please let Eli be surrounded by love and know that he is loved. I am so grateful for all of you that help answer that prayer. We love you all!!

Driving Lessons
I have great memories of driving around the neighborhood sitting on my dad's lap. I'm glad Eli will have those memories too! Don't worry. This is an empty parking lot at Hardware Ranch (far up Hyrum Canyon) so chance for accidents!
Such a Pretty Pony!
Eli has a stick horse that he loves to ride around with daddy, but he still hadn't met a real horse until we went to Aunt Marilyn's over Memorial Day weekend for our annual trip with Grandpa! It was Eli's first trip to Paradise (Utah - by Logan) and he loved the fields and animals. It rained most of the weekend, so when the weather would break we'd run outside and go on a walk to see the animals. Eli was interested in the cows and dogs, although the horses were the highlight of the trip. At first Eli was too sure about the big brutes - and the feeling seemed to be mutual - but then they began to ease into each other. No biting from the horses, no crying from Eli. Good times for all! I especially loved that Eli wanted to touch them with his feet, not his hands. So cute!
